The Future of Beauty in Brazil — Skincare Panorama
Academic project developed at FAPCOM focused on mapping the beauty and skincare market in Brazil — the 3rd largest in the world, with revenues of R$ 242.3 billion in 2025 and 11.2% year-over-year growth.
The work drew on data from sources including ABIHPEC, Euromonitor International, Mordor Intelligence, and Nielsen IQ to build a comprehensive sector overview, covering everything from the industry’s economic footprint to the consumer trends shaping the 2025–2026 period.
Challenges
Synthesizing a large volume of quantitative and qualitative data into a coherent strategic narrative — one that captures the behavior of the Brazilian consumer across generations, from Gen Alpha and Z to the established 40+ profile — while identifying the forces driving skincare growth: personalization, technology, sustainability, and digital expansion.
Results
A structured sector panorama featuring analysis of national and global players, sales channel mapping, emerging trends such as Skinimalism, Skin Cycling, and body care, and identification of strategic opportunities for brands operating or looking to enter the Brazilian beauty market.
